New video streaming application called Peekaboo is released. Peekaboo is a simple video streaming application for Nokia N800 Internet tablet. Application makes it possible to stream live video to the web. The stream can be watched from a web browser, whit Windows Media- plugin installed. Peekaboo is an open source project and released under GNU General Public License- GPL. Peekaboo is built on VLC media player-engine.

Please note that we ran out of time with this school project. We didn't have time to implement the showing of video stream to Peekaboo N800 application. For now you only see "Now streaming" -text when stream is started. Other than that this application works like it was planned. Also watching the video with web-browser works with Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer 7. Peekaboo will be released for the IT OS2007 (Bora). The IT OS2008 (Chinook) version didn't fit into our timeframe.
