I was trying different kinds of profiles for video compression on H.264 and Divx. My base profiles was a video with 400x240, 24 to 30 FPS and 2 pass compression method. I found that Divx played without issues and H.264 at the same profile didn't worked well.
I tried better resolutions (800x480), but my N810 complains about that showing a message that says (Resolution not supported). I will keep trying for optimal video compression profiles. I some one did the same, please let me know the thread, I know about a lot video discussion in his forum, but I will not review each opened thread for get the right information.
