Anyone ever seen these cases for sale anywhere. I found them on this wholesale place. I send them an email asking whole sale price but I'm sure I will have to order a bunch of them.

Cool I had been looking but I couldn't find them retail anywhere.

Boxwave sells a case identical to the one in the middle. I've bought it and have been using it for a couple of months now. It's great!

I think you can also pick up these exact cases on eBay. A few months ago I too sent off an email to 4ustuff inquiring on how to purchase - they sent me to eBay. Sorry don't still have the email so can't give you the name of the seller.

Does anyone know if the alunimun case from PDAir:
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product...oducts_id=7316

have a clear plastic cover to protect the screen or is the screen "exposed"?

My concern is that the screen would still be vulnerable in my bag.

I don't have one, but I read in another thread here that they do. So do the ebay clones. Do a search to verify my memory.

It looks to me exactly like this one on Amazon ...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ima...SIN=B00166Q7Q8
which comes from Boxwave, and clearly (no pun intended) has a screen sheild.

Since the price is the same, and Amazon's ad specifically shows a sheild, I'd go with ordering from them. In fact, even though I'm not a big fan of hard cases (and that people tell me I am one! ), I'm seriously thinking about buying this one.

I just received today the BoxWave aluminum hard case. My initial reaction is I like it.
It appears to me to provide good protection with the N810 inserted and the cover closed, especially from dings and scratches. I don't plan to do a drop test but it appears that the case would take the blunt of the blow.
With the N810 inserted and the cover closed most buttons, etc are accessible except for the USB port, swingout stand and the battery cover.
With the cover open the screen easily slides up to give access to the keyboard, however, in this mode the topside buttons are near impossble to press.
As I said, I really like this case and will be keeping it.
YMMV

I recently bought this PDair Leather Sleeve type case for the N810 ... nice case in general but a major dissapointment in that you can't use the keyboard with the case on... and nowhere on the site do thay make that clear explicitly.

Anyway for a better video demo of the case (before I return it)
here's a Qik video of PDair case with the N810.
