I have mounted my hd on my 770, and it works fine. The problem is that I don't want to type the mount line in every time. I read in thoughfix' s site about a script that you can use to mount and unmount the device. The problem is that I type edit /etc/sudoers in xterm and it says sh: edit: not found. Do I need to enable root with the flasher, or am I typing the wrong command in? Thanks for all of the help.

Both
You may need or may not need to be root to mount (most probably you will). Try using different editor (like vi or mcedit for instance, may need to be installed before use).

Also you can use load-applet-run to run the mount command from the statusbar. Here is the OS2006 version:

With that program I still need to write and save a script for it to run. I am not sure how to do that.

PyGtkEditor is pretty good and lets you browse the whole filesystem, although you'll need to run it as root to modify system files.
