My N800 arrived, and since then I've been playing with it a fair bit.

I've written up a review comparing it with the handheld it replaced - my old Palm TX here .

Anyone have any comments? Anything I've missed?

Your excellent comparison pains me greatly! I have owned so many Palms I can hardly count…Palm III, Palm IIIx, Palm Vx (my fav of all time), Palm Tungsten T3, and a Treo 650. I have been a Palm fan for years and even wrote some simple yet useful applications for Palm OS (see Palm Steam Tables at Palmgear.com).

Unfortunately Palm is dead. They have been stomped on by Blackberry in in the smart phone market, and let’s face it, the PDA market died in 2002.

I ordered a N800 yesterday before reading your comparison. Thanks for validating my decision!
