os2008 and n800 need special cable for automatic host mode. (as stated in the main thread) mine is self made.
usd drives works, self-powered hard drives work, memory card reader works, some keyboards work without dropping keystrokes (need more powerthan the tablet can supply)
you will have to try your exotic usb stuff yourself. I doubt the sim card usb modem will work.

Bit worried if i am opening a thread for an existing topic..I myself posted clarifications in some threads in the PRE-OS2008 period..And i could not find some old threads now..Can someone give me some info about USB Host Mode in N800 after installing OS2008? Does it mean i can connect a USB modem with SIM card and have Internet Access? Power supply Issues? Please assist me...Thanks a lot in advance..
