I live in Alaska. The Alaska/Canada map which I downloaded from the Navicore website (could not get the downloads to complete off the N800) is horribly rotated. It shows the Aleutians pointing straight up! Since I am stationary in my house and just playing with the device, locating addresses etc, how can I rotate the display so that looks more like reality?

I liked Maemo Mapper 1.x due to the WinMapper helper application, but with the new db format the only way to get maps is directly from the device. I find it far easier to download a chunk of map/satellite data to my pc based on my travels and move it to the N800 as needed. the auto download is great is you have a data paired cell phone and coverage, not so great when you are 100 miles from the nearest village, which isn't connected to the grid anyway.
