A week or two ago I saw that the beta version of the Nokia Maps 2.0 has been released. I wonder if anyone knows if this will be available for the Tablets as well soon?

I'm far not happy with the OS2008's Maps application, especially not with the database behind.

Hi,

I tought that will be a true stupidity if Nokia don't port Nokia GPS app to their own Nokia Internet Table equiped with GPS. What you can think about a company that don't support their own software over their own devices?

Regards,

Taguapire.

Well, Smart2Go.com is owned by Nokia and has been available for Windows Mobile and a bunch of Nokia phones for over a year. But still no NIT options available.

You think that they would port such a thing to the NIT yet it supports the following devices:
  • Windows Mobile 5
  • Nokia 6110
  • Nokia 6120 Classic
  • Nokia E61
  • Nokia E61i
  • Nokia E65
  • Nokia E90
  • Nokia N70
  • Nokia N72
  • Nokia N73
  • Nokia N76
  • Nokia N93i
  • Nokia N95

Well, Wayfinder.com says for the map on their website: "Get directions, discover millions of POI’s around you. Experience what you’ll get in your mobile with Wayfinder.". But the map comes with the Wayfinder application on OS2008 has much lower detalis (at least for the Central European region). Isn't it stupidity to give the Tablet users old and not detailed maps with full of mistakes?
