Hi,

I was trying out some Galaga MAME files I downloaded but the ROMs are failing. The thing is they all look different: different names, extensions, numbers of files, but each group is a Galaga and they're all listed as 'MAME'.

Currently I have XMAEME running and then installed XMAME, which I assume is the correct method? (I'm running the Nokia 770, by the way.)

So how do I tell which ROM will run? Are there any tried and tested ones out there I can download to at least prove to myself that my set up works? Is there any way to tell which ROMs will function?

Cheers
Theo

I tryed few games with N800 Mame, atleast UpīN Down did work ok.

There was many other games too, but I forgot witch games did work..

Ahh.. Yes.. My other favourite Pengo did also work.. Love those games like Petch was for C64.. But it was quite hard control with N800 ī+ controllerī.

Also tryed NES emulator, but couldnt load any games. Always said Couldnt load ROM or something..

i would use mame on the command line. the frontend for the tablet keeps a lot of the games from working.

example: xmame ./shinobi.zip -rr -fullscreen -ef 1
