I have several folders in Claws that I've deleted from my IMAP desktop client but I can't delete them from the Trash folder of Claws on my n800. When I try to do so I get a "Can't remove the folder" error message. The folders do not appear anywhere on my IMAP server and have been successfully deleted from there as best I can tell. Appreciate any assistance.

Try to do a tap-n-hold on the IMAP root folder and use "Check for new folders"; it should remove them. Alternatively, tap-n-hold these folders and use "Delete folder" or "Subscriptions/Unsubscribe".

HTH!

Thanks for the advice. I had already tried the second method and was receiving the error message that the folder couldn't be deleted. Tried the first method and didn't receive an error message but the folders were still there. Finally just uninstalled and reinstalled the program and that did the trick. Not sure what was going on here.

Maybe 'Rebuild folder tree' would have done it.

I had tried that as well to no avail before reinstalling. In any event all seems well now.
