Hi... I can't find where the FM radio controls are on my N800 and also is there a way to get XM Radio to work on it? I can login to the site, launch the applet, enter my station, but no sound comes out.

You need to plug in the earphones for the FM radio, they act as an antenna.

Assuming you have the FM radio installed, it's under "select applets", in the "home" menu on the home screen.

Subscribers can also listen over the internet which works fine on real PC's.

Ah, you want to listen to an internet radio station?

Does XM work through a website on your PC, or do you have to use a special program?

If it works through a website, you may be able to use the same website on your tablet.

They do have a website that you press "Listen Now" and it launches another window. There you can choose which of there 150 or so you want to listen to and BAM...your listening like you do in your car.

By the way Jersey Joe, have you updated your N800 to OS 2008?

If you do that, you can access a free built-in directory of internet radio stations which is very very easy to use. It has hundreds of stations all listed by genre, language and country.

Upgrading to OS 2008 is very easy if you have access to a Windows PC and it's totally free too.


So you've tried the site and done everything you're supposed to but there's no sound?

Did you get any error messages at all?

XM Online uses a proprietary player and encoding on their web stream, it's been discussed here before, it won't work on the NIT.
