Do anyone know how to control mplayer on the N800?
I can open a video file and play well. However, if I have to exit it before it finish, I have to start over from the begining. I can jump to any point of the video?

Thank.

Press the menu button on the tablet will bring up an on screen menu, which will allow you to jump to different part of the video. On the N810, it is the lower button on the slide out keyboard. On the N800, it is the menu button

The more recent versions of mplayer have a "resume" function built in: the launcher remembers where you stopped the last played file and will restart from that point. Look for bold entries in the launcher menu.

I noticed that Canola did that & thought it was a function of Canola itself. Thanks for sharing that.
