yes:
don't go in redpill mode..

hildon input method cannot be seen in blue pill mode after a reflash.
open a shell and type this:
apt-cache policy hildon-input-method

Okay I can see this hildon-input-method version.

Did you install it through svn? That's exactly why I asked for the output of the previous command.

If yes, this is the development branch, don't expect stable stuffs.

You probably have a version of libart which is too old.

Can you type this:
apt-cache rdepends libart-2.0-2

You'll have to ask gplsystems.com..

Until then you can disable this repository or ignore the update until it's fixed.

This version comes directly from svn, the development branch. It's probably not finished yet. That's what you are trying to install on your IT.

If you want to go on in this path you have to install this repo:

http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/
chinook
free

And it says:

EVALUATION Software! Not for productive work!

Have fun and tell us when it works ;-p

edit: and to finish my speech, if it shows in App manager it's because gplsystems have forced it to be shown:

In a way, it's good that this package did not install
Otherwise it _could_ be that you would have to reflash because it would not work correctly and break the bootup process (or anything else).

From what I understand, the problem is that these packages are visible in blue pill mode. In redpill, you are allowed to shoot yourself in the foot but not in bluepill mode!

Same goes for the libraries which should not be displayed, but this person is not the only one, it fills my app manager..
