I installed fmradio a week or so ago. I used it. Plug in headphones (for an antenna, at least) and it works. But sometime in the past few days, the menu entry disappeared. I still have an applet that lets me play the radio, but it doesn't let me set new stations. The full gui comes up if i launch it from xterm. So, it's just the menu entry that's gone. Perhaps when i installed something else... Any ideas?

Funny thing is, i never used to listen to FM much. Mostly podcasts.

You can try to uninstall and then reinstall again?

I have root. I was hoping for a file to edit. There's got to be a file.

Oh wait. I'm a Unix guru. I can find this...

There is no menu entry for FM radio on os2007 or os2008. you launch it from the desktop applet. Just click what looks like a page with a music note on it to launch the application.

I swear there was a menu entry at one time. Perhaps it deleted itself when i told it to display the applet. But hiding the applet does not get you a menu entry.

At least the applet can launch the app.

Perhaps i'll write a wrapper. There's some sort of gui launcher app. I forget what it's called...
