- not bad for local deal... however, newegg has adata, ridata 8gb sdhc for ~$28 (+$5 s/h)...

- interestingly, the pqi 8gb sdhc is $53 online at frys.com!

(wish i had a decent geek store 'round these parts)

I am in the same boat as you. Living in the middle of puddle-jump nowhere it's a 60-90mi roundtrip to places that most closely resemble civilization, though in two of the cases that is a relative term..

I was at our WallyWorld a couple nights ago and happened to notice their price 1 1gb cards are near $30...I mean good grief! I guess it's good money if one can get it.

Right now online for an 8gb card sub-$30 seems typical. $36 seems a few bucks too much. Still if they have what you need it's not a bad price at all.
