I am a complete newbie and I searched for an answer to this problem with no luck.

I have a Dlink DIR 615 wireless router. I can connect to my network with my N800, no problem. When I try to open a web page I just get a 'server not found' message even though I can see my N800 is connected to my network.

I talked to the Dlink teks and they said there is a problem with my N800. Has anyone else had this problem & any suggestions as to what it could be?

On your router side, check if there are any restrictions for ips (assuming you are getting dhcp) for accessing the internet.

On the N800, can you see any shared drives? also make sure you are connecting through your router and not your neighbors.
Go to Applications/Settings/Connections Manager, does your router's name come up? Connections type should be WLAN

Many Thanks Superstar,

I looked into my wireless settings and there were no restrictions for ips, but I did notice an optional setting for a DMZ host in the firewall. I put the N800's IP in there and VOILA! I got can access the internet.

The router instructions warn that doing this is a security risk but at least I can get through.

Thanks again for your post. It helped me to figure this out at last.
