So I got KDE up and running and it works for a couple days, no problem, then all of a sudden KDE stops working, a constant horizontal 1px thick line appears on my screen (and by constant I mean it appears on the boot screen), I can't install or uninstall any applications and things generally don't work. I have now reflashed it several times with different images and that has had no effect. If anyone knows anything or has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated!

Couple of questions:
a) how did you install KDE - dual boot method or .deb?
b) do you have swap enabled? you'll need swap to run things smoothly.
c)what are you doing in KDE when this line appears on your screen? d) what machine are you running? if it's a N810 and you're installing KDE on your internal card - there's a thread about how to tell if your internal card is corrupted

I've never had problems with KDE so these are all just educated guesses

a. I installed it from the .deb I think
as for the rest I have an N800 and the problem isn't one with KDE specifically, it's just that the first time I had any problems was when KDE crashed on me and I was forced to restart the device. After that KDE refused to work along with a bunch of other things and a black line appeared on my screen which absolutely will not go away. It appears the moment you turn on the device, even before the blue loading bar does. I've already reflashed it several times and I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do.
