FastContact is a finger-friendly application to browse GPE's contact database. It is written in Python and depends on David Hautbois's PySQLite module, which is available here. Its most noteworthy feature is the phone-like keyboard to quickly filter through the contact database. The list window uses kinetic scrolling -- the speed somewhat adjustable. I also added a "left-handed" mode. The settings are not saved yet.

The application is read-only so no worries about messing up your database. It currently ignores categories (I don't use them myself).
