Could someone tell me if the removable card still has a listing in filemanager, even if it's not inserted?

Would someone mind looking in filemanager on an 810 and telling me if the tree view shows a listing for the Removable memory card on the left, even when a card isn't there?
Mine has stopped working, but I was thinking filemanager still showed an empty tree, even when nothing is mounted.
I'm hoping it's a bad card, and not a bad reader.
Thanks in advance!
