Well I just got the famous will not turn on issue. On my N810 after upgrading to the new 51-3 2008OS, which is to fix it, which was not an issue just other issues I was hoping to correct. However, as all the unwanted issue were found I went back to the 50-2 2008OS and then used MC to delete the gpe-files found and also tried the 256mb swap (which worked fine on my N770 and N800) which would not work as I kept getting mkswap switch errors.

So, I now think it is a software issue as so many files/pointer/items are left when you uninstall...YES, much like our friendly MS windows OS....Would be awesome if someone made a program like Revo Uninstaller for the IT.

I assumed when one flashed, like when one re-installs MS windows, everything was "as original" which is not the case.

It is like when you have left-overs, which are not stored correctly, you get food poison !!!!! Makes you sick.....so it is with the IT, IMHO

Getting so many programs from so many places/vendors, which is why Nokia has the disclaimer IT IS NOT NOKIA, use at your own risk...

If I am wrong, sorry just trying to be helpful....better to ask then to be upset as so many other which have either gave up and/or replaced good IT's....As folks did not state if they installed anything, which one might assume is so, it is hard to know if there are also...NEW, just turned on, without installing/uninstalling any applications...hard to do with so much FUN to be had....
