Hi all, what a great site this is, I have ordered my N810 and will arrive tomorrow, I am now worried that I will not be able to get the device to connect to the internet via my bluetooth modem on my nokia n82 I cant find anywhere on here that mentions about bluetooth connections being possible :-(

Has anyone connected the N810 via a mobile phone on bluetooth?

Yes, there should be quite a few posts about it on the site. Many people use bluetooth connections to their phones for mobile access using the DUN profile, and I think PAN might be supported now too.

In many cases, but not all, you can also browse the filesystem on the phone and copy some files (such as pictures from the phone's camera) to the tablet.
