Hello,

There are some hard core nerds here for whom Android becomes suddenly much more appealing alternative:

Native Vim for Android

Android is a good alternative but it just drain battery too fast at the moment. Otherwise would be great.

I don't entirely get it.

Maemo5 has had a working copy of vim in the repos practically since release.

Some time ago in discussion maemo/meego vs android one of main points for m/m was existence of vim.
Well, maybe this is not point *more* for android but one point *less* for m/m in this type of discussions.

I don't think the OP meant it's much more appealing than the N900... I think he meant it's much more appealing than it was before vim was released for Android.
