I wonder if is there any way to setup a password request on the tablet's power on stage?

I've read some docs + mail listings about maemo's architecture so I understand that a tablet is a single-user device and it would be stupid to ask it for multi-user authentication . But they (docs) doesn't contradict an idea about possible way to setup authorization for single user .

P.S. I know about the way of the lock password setuping, but it is real unusable for me: it is not a fun to enter a password each time when screen and keyboards are unlocked.
