Ok, stats first. n800 running OS2008.

I have tried quite a few things to save the password here on ITT. I have to log in every time I launch the browser and come back here. It gets to be a little tedious, as you can imagine.

I've renamed and recreated the .mozilla directory. Edited out any references to internettablettalk.com from my cookies file. Checked my prefs.js file and it's all enabled - it works for other sites, in fact.

Is there any way to force the browser to remember my login details? I'm fairly Linux savvy, so command-line stuff is welcome too.
Thanks in advance.

Any other clues? This is insanity. I basically skip coming here on my tablet. I have to type my name, password, check "remember me" every single time... then it says thanks for logging in, redirects me after 5 seconds, then brings me to the MAIN PAGE and not the forum. Tap forum... wait...

It takes me 10-15 seconds to get here every single time when I launch the browser!

I have tried "clear - all personal data" and it says some cache items can't be deleted. I looked in prefs.js and the signon prefs are all set to save. Everything is owned by user:users.

Anybody?
