Google just released their calendar software. Worth checking out:

Did you get it to work in Opera? It seems to me that for now it only supports IE and Firefox.

Right now it doesn't (see teemu's blog). But considering that Gmail works OK on the 770 (where most Ajax webapps do not), it should be possible for Google to support mobile Opera in Calendar too as the "beta" evolves... here's hoping :-)

Google Calendar is not working now, so why not use Inbox.com (http://www.inbox.com) - there is free huge email with calendar, notes and storage support which support 770 right now

Sorry, I tried it at work, when I posted this message, and it worked on my work PC. When I got home, I realized that Google had employed heavy AJAX technology in it, and no, it doesn't work on the 770. Darn it!

We get that at work, some developers say, "Hey, lets use that AJAX!" They always want to tinker with new, unproven technologies for fun, and/or to beef up their resume. I don't use anything just for the sake of using it.

I haven't used the Google calendar since that day. I am not using anything that doesn't work on my 770. I am going to try that http://www.inbox.com stuff, that looks cool. I wonder how a website like that makes any money? I guess they have banner ads on the page.

Google calendar works in Manaos 0.1.3, like some other things
Heavy memory drain

I don't think so, it looks like there is banner just for their toolbar (BTW: I was check it and it have nice email notifier (with GMail and POP3 support too) and virtual drive for their Storage (same as GDrive for GMail but supported from Inbox.com) )
