First i installed Wizard Mounter, then i shared my music directory via samba from my computer (Win XP). I then went into the file manager at my N800 and i could browse through my music + streaming by first selecting a mp3 file in the file manager and then opening it works.

What i basically would like to do is getting some music application on my N800 to build a library of music music or let me navigate through it easy.

Ive tried a few music players but its not possible to specify a directory where it should look for music files in any of them (Tried the built in, youamp, kagu and canola2).

Have anyone tried something like this and gotten it to work?

(Im running the latest firmware on my N800, just updated yesterday.)

Its this application that has a really bad gui

A symlink seems like a great idea, is it hard to mount a samba share via xterm (would rather do that)?
