Question

I got the nokia about a week ago and the device worked fine with GPS - I connected the first time and every time afterwards I would get a fix almost immediately. After the latest upgrade to OS2008, the GPS device won't fix, and it'll never find more than 1 maybe 2 sats. It cannot ever get a location....

Also... anyone figure out how to connect to LEAP MSCHAP2 networks yet? The device is advertised as being able to connect to wifi.... yet it doesn't have the ability to connect to LEAP, a cisco
based wifi that's very common in the office setting :*(

any help would be appreciated, I'm already looking into returning this device; but would like to avoid the hassle if there's a fix

Are you in the same geographic area as you were when it first (miraculously) connected quickly?
Generally I find a 200 mile move makes it take a while to achieve the first connection.

If I leave it on indoors for a while and it can't get a lock, even if I haven't moved it goes back into "take several minutes" mode.

It may help to keep starting it when outdoors so it can quickly get a lock.
