Okay, thanks everyone. It must have been because when I tested it, OS2008 was still in beta.
Pity there's no video though. Seems kinda silly how you can't use the built-in webcam.
At this thread on the Skype forum, one of the moderators claims it works fine: "I don't have issues with Skype on my N800 running OS2008."
Can anyone confirm that Skype works on the N800 running OS2008 without dropping calls yet?
(And yes, I have searched but didn't find anything concrete)
