does anyone tried this linux lite version on the n810?
they told me it should run good on the n810.

It should run fine... you might look at running it in a chroot environment rather than booting from it. There's a couple of threads on the subject here, mostly about Debian ARM.

While it *should* run, several things wouldn't work 'cause the drivers for the hardware (for the most part) are closed-source. So probably no wireless, the keyboard "blue" keys wouldn't work etc.

I don't really know what the benefit would be.

Pardon my ignorance of N810 hardware, but I think the blue keys you reference are the Fn-shifted keys, for e.g. numerals?

If so, that's not an issue of closed-source, you just need to use xmodmap to make an appropriate mapping. There's one here that FatalSaint made for Debian.

More troublesome, though, is the fact that the exact product eyco linked to was for x86, not ARM; it cannot work. I don't know if there's an ARM version available, but that will be necessary for any possibility of running on the N810.
