I have a n800, OS 2008 with a screen calibration problem.
on the corners and the sides of the screen, the alignment is perfect. however, near the middle of the screen, everything is off: it believes I am pointing higher than I actually am.
Calibration, even several times in a row, does not help.
From other posts, I found out that reflashing can solve this issue. I don't really like this solution since I have *TOO MUCH* installed software (mmc boot in addition!), but the main problem is that a lot of the software I have has been installed from .deb files. It would take me days to restore the device to the previous settings.
Am I doomed, or is there any hope left?
