I know with the default media player you can minimize it play the music while you surf the web or w/e.
My question is, can you listen to music w/ canola, and do other things at the same time? Or do you have to have canola up, and only canola?

You can use the menu key to go to another application. Though Canola uses resources when it's in use so..

Laughing, it does indeed keep the image / resources loaded, so memory is not free... but as it would be in any other music application. The music plugin is loaded, the core is loaded but only the essencial for that.

The major problem is browser, the other hungry application. so avoid opening too much windows or big images in the browser that can kill the memory.

128 mb ram is for sure a bottle neck in heavy situations
