Yeah i'm sure this has been asked before and maybe a stupid question, but;

Is it possible to port Qtopia/Opie to the n770?
I like the interface better, but i think the nokia's is more powerful.
Maybe someone could just write a different interface... I miss a start/kde/gnome menu button thingy ... and a desktop with icons...

Thanks in advance

Yes, it is possible. If it runs linux, it can run Qtopia or Opie.

I am glad you are monitoring this board Lpotter. I would love a Opie image. I see there are some experimental GPE images out there. Anyone know of any Qt Opie ports we could play with? Is there any active developement?

Good deal. Looking forward to someday having Opie running on the 770.
