I saw the Nokia N800 on the Dell website yesterday, and was contemplating a purchase, but didnt pull the trigger because it was not in stock. Well today the Nokia N800 was MIA from the Dell website, so I gave a call to their 800 number. The Dell sales rep informed me that Dell has discontinued the Nokia N800.

Try Amazon. There you can get it for like 210 bugs.

Damn. I was so busy hoarding rice I missed out on the $199 N800 from Dell.

i spent the better part of last week arguing with Dell regarding the discontinued N800. I ordered one and kept receiving emails saying the shipping had been delayed. when I called customer service they told me they would refund me and that should be enough ... i was heart broken that not only was i not getting my n800 last week but that the next best deal was 30 bucks more.

You shouldn't even buy from Dell. From my experience they have really bad customer service. If you buy a n800 from CompUSA for $220 you can get 10% off (up to $20) when bought with paypal before April 30th. You can also purchase a 90 day return period thing for around $8. So i got my N800 for around $231 shipped. I'd say its a great deal since I have have a whole 3 months to decide if i want to keep it as opposed to the normal 30 days.

So I buy the N800 and I can return it within 90 days...
just in time to get a N810 WiMax!
