I recently updated/reflashed to the most recent update available for OS08, and I seem to be having quite a few problems.

To start, I cannot seem to be able to install any application whatsoever. Anytime I try to do so, I get "Download/Installation" fail. This happens when the process reached the download point. Seems like everything just freezes.

I was underthe impression that this new update will also fix the emial client problems, but it made it worse. Crashes all the time. (Launching, downloading email, sending, etc)

Other problems as well, but I really need to get passed the first issue up there, to get anything going.

Any ideas?

I also reflashed twice now, first time restoring everything from my backup, and 2nd time just starting fresh. Did not make a difference.

Fix your internal card, it's corrupted.

Your impression was wrong, Modest is shipping with Diablo in a couple of months.

Reflashing doesn't fix the cards.

When you say "fix your internal card, it's corrupted"
What exactly do you mean, how do you fix it?

It's corrupted, format it or fsck it.

fsck: not found

(in xterm, both initially and after sudo gainroot). Am I doing something wrong?
