Oh, wow. I was totally unaware of that.
And yes, I'm going to keep using the '06 Beta. It's much cleaner than '05.
Then I setup my gmail account with the email client. I was receiving mail just fine and everything was working until a few days ago, I got new mail, the 770 tried to alert me with a noise and flash the IM icon on the right bar and the whole thing resets.
Now whenever it starts, it gets to the desktop, the CPU usage is 100% as with normal start up, then goes back down, then back up again, the icon on the left tries to start blinking and the whole screen goes white, then says Nokia. Then it blanks out and comes back on and reboots.
I can't re-flash at the moment because I'm using windows and don't have access to my linux box for a bit (on vacation).
As a side note, I don't know why people thought Nokia said the Windows flasher wouldn't work, the wording said that after you flashed it, the Windows Flasher wouldn't work anymore and you would have to wait for an update. Which is true, it gives you some kind of image display error then resets the device. I tried it.
Any ideas on fixing this or anyone know what might be causing this?
