Tigerdirect/compusa today finally joined the rank with Dell/buy.com/newegg: n800 "not in stock/temprarily sold out". So you know what Amazon.com want to do with their leftover n800 stocks? Jack up the price to a new all time high - $242.

CDW in stock $243.99
Provantage $228 yes, website say ONE in stock.

Go for the N810? I cannot stand the ****** hidden Dpad.

...and if the dpad had remained on the exposed face, there would be an equal number of people complaining about that.

A week and a half late, Mara; there's probably a dozen people who'd have paid a premium if you had "accidentally" left a copy of Diablo on it...

I did more than jump on that, I placed my order with my tablet tethered to my cellphone, stopped on sideway of a highway, and it went thru and even get a confirmation email. 2 hrs later, an evil voice called and said somebody just before me, bought 13 of them. Need to say more......

Oddly enough, I just went to TigerDirect and their site says In Stock. Maybe the 14 from Expansys just showed up?

Jumping is faster than GPRS...

(What I meant by "jumped on" was to include "seen faster and/or acted faster"; guess that was unclear...)

Honestly, I do not know how other big gun guru use the Dpad. I myself prefer to use the onscreen keyboard for typing. And when I want to back up, not erase, I need the Dpad. I usually take a deep deep sigh and carefully peep to see my kids are not around, I would then curse with the most foul mouth and slide out the keyboard to get access to the Dpad.

I have programmed a softreboot button on the statusbar. Boy, I love that little switch better any _spot I ever known in my life. I softreboot anytime I want without having to touch the hardware power button. But when the boot screen comes up and I have to go to intFlash boot or MMC boot other than the default, here we go again, I would habitually look around first, then curse, then slide out the $%^^*^*&^$% keyboard to get access to the Dpad.

so much for the n810...........
