I have just updated my n810 to Diablo from the original OS2008. I am unable to find or connect to any wlan connections. I have tried reflashing Diablo and going to ver 2 of O2008. And still no luck. I am unable to flash ver 1 as the nokia flash manager will not allow me to do so. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
S

I ended up calling nokia they said to send it for repairs or take it back to where I bought it from. I ended up exchanging it. No problems on the new one. I did upgrade to ver 2 then diablo, this time.

Mine is a N800 dual-booting; so I can fall back to chinook on my mmc2.

dmesg outputs:

SoftMAC not initialized, chip not booted (Set oid 0x6)
SoftMAC not initialized, chip not booted (Set oid 0x10000000)

Update:

After doing /etc/init.d/icd2 restart I was able to re-connect to the WiFi !
