Updated to the new OS2008, figured I run an update for the built-in map app as well. There's a new set of maps version 2008.1, and I see some new locations that weren't there before (or listed on the Wayfinder website) : Malaysia and Brazil.

I wonder when will more countries show up? I'm still looking for Hong Kong.

Great news indeed. Updating my maps to 2008.1. as I type.

Ran into a problem when trying to update to maps. Deleted old maps due to space. Kicked off the download. Lost connection (very slow download). Removed the corrupted file. Reflashed with newest OS firmware. Now Maps is reporting it can't get a network connection, try again later. I'm able to access the web, but not successfully update the Maps to download the newest ones. Any tips or have others ran into problems trying to update to the newest Map downloads?

i also had to delete old maps to install new usa maps and i have been unable to updat using my wifi connection from home


hmmmm
