Note that python is available for diablo. Python-runtime only is a metapackage depending of others python packages.
The better way of installing python is installiing a package depending of others python packages like python-hildon, python-gtk2, python-osso, etc.
For example, like a python package, pyrecipe (soon will be released) is depending of python-hildon, python-gtk2, etc.
As user-friendly installation, the better way is installing an application that it's depending of others python packages. Never install python manually.
Please if a python application is depending of others packages as python-hildon, python-gtk2 and they aren't installed automatically, email me dyerga at gmail dot com I will try to improve the automatic installation.
