How do you delete an email account from an N800? I'd like to pass mine on to my nephew, but it automatically pulls my current email when turned on.

I've poked at it for hours on my own, searched the forums, and the basic 'where to go' seems to be missing.

The closest I've seen is an instruction to delete the account from the settings in the email app, but I don't know where to find that. I am using the default email client.

Thank you in advance for helping a tech-challenged user!

Go to "settings", "control panel", "accounts" then delete all of your accounts.

If you're passing it on it's probably best to just reflash it with the latest firmware. Make sure you also reset the lock code to the default "12345" to avoid confusing the next lucky owner :-)

Tap menu -> Tools -> Accounts.

Nope, only instant messaging / VoIP accounts are there.
