Unusual problem, but if someone could help. Is there any way to upgrade the software to newest diablo (or at least newer than 42.19) when upgrade program says "Unsupported software upgrade file". i think this is because HW version of my tablet is too old. So, is there any trick to modify the software file somehow or anything else?
Thank you!

Do not use a file the flash wizzard will download the newist and install it.
You just have to run the wizzard and let it do its thing, you may have a n800 file and that would not work for a n810.

Automatic downloader fails to download updates. Update file is for N810 and downloaded through Nokia's manual update directory. Any other ideas?

We talk about Windows here I guess? This is all a bit vague. What does "old Hardware version of my tablet" mean?
"fails to download updates. Update file is for N810" - so dou you use the Nokia Windows application that automatically downloads the image file itself?

The tablet update wizard for Windows should work for all tablets.

What does the wizard actually say when you try to use it? What error message does it display?

Did you make sure you put the tablet in update mode before attaching it to your PC?

If you need help on using the wizard see here:

Unless you have a prototype, the HW is certainly supported.
In case you do have a proto, you should get the internal legacy Fiasco. However the HW version affects only the bootloader and (in rare cases) the kernel, but not the userspace.

Yes, I'm using that windows application for software update. It just says something that "can't connect to internet". Same on every computer with this tablet and the internet works fine and proxy's are ok. Most important thing is, that my tablet is a prototype (I'm Nokia's employee), so that's why I think the HW is incompatible. Every update file newer than 42.19 is not going to install because of that "unsupported software update file" error. So now I'm wondering if someone know is this because of that too old hardware version of the tablet or what?
