What do people think of this

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...d/Product.html

its class 4 - if it was in the external drive would it slow the os down

is class 4 slow? Is it the amount on it that would slow things down?

Anyway 32Gb for £60 thats pretty bloody good.

(I wonder how long before 64Gig is this price).

Ohhh, that is very good indeedy!! I'll be good though!

Was talking about 32GB the other day, and all the online prices I could find were around £120. 16Gb is still about £40-45.

I have 2 class 4 16GB integral cards in my N800, and they run just fine.

classes have to do with the speed that the card can write
its a real easy rule to remember

Class 2: minimum sustained DTS of 2MB/sec
Class 4: minimum sustained DTS of 4MB/sec
Class 6: minimum sustained DTS of 6MB/sec

(ps DTS=data transfer speed)

Well, as much as this is a personal preference sort of question..
I have mine filled to the brim with mp3s and run canola on it, its responsive enough to not notice a difference between different smaller cards
however, it is noticeable in the file manager and other full listing that doesn't depend on a database

Technically the SD Card association have defined the maximum limit of SDHC capacity to 32 GB, but thatll change of course

wow, 32G for only 60... that's q. a deal!

one of my 4GB cards, pre-sdhc, has been giving errors, and the other 4GB card is pretty full with music and videos, so 32G would last me a while!

snag is, I'd want two of them... hmmm!
