Hey I'm experiencing a problem with the application manager where I can't install, remove or view installed applications. In the Application Manger if I choose "Show installed applications" the list comes up blank with "(no applications installed)". In "Browse installed applications" it has a prompt that says "Operation failed" and then it says "(no applications available)" in the background window. Under "Check for updates" it again says "Operation failed" and the window says "(no updates available)". Here's the log:

hildon-application-manger 2.0.2
apt-worker closed connection.
apt-worker exited.
apt-worker is not running
apt-worker is not running
apt-worker is not running

Anybody know how to fix this so I can add/remove normally again? Appreciate any help.

I'm having this problem too

I rebooted my tablet after installing a bunch of repositories and then my entire list of repositories in the application manager catalog is completely gone!

Exact same problem here since yesterday. Only other thing I did yesterday on my brand-new n810 was do the update of the OS to version .30.

I'm reflashing now to see if that fixes it, curious if the others in this thread with the problem also updated.

Well, flashing appears to have restored basic functionality to app manager, and I once again updated to the
OS 2008 Feature upgrade ( Diablo 4.2008.30-2 )
Application Manager appears to be working again.

Seems to me I recall on the 800 that there was a "Refresh Catalogs" under the Tools menu which is not there now.

Next I'll need to find repositories again for all the goodies.

Rats. The application manager APPEARS to be working, but I can't install anything on the installable applications menu.

Always seems to hang on the status bar, and the log shows:
Failed to fetch (whichever route to deb) connect(113 no route to host)

Internet is working fine, but it seems Application Manager isn't accessing the wifi signal?

you should post the complete log, so that we can see where it is trying to connect.

I still haven't resolved this, any suggestions would be awesome. Nice to see I'm not the only one with this problem.

Well, when I rebooted and there were no applications shown, I went to the application catalog window and saw there were no repos in there. I then just went to Gronmayer.it and selected the repos I wanted and boom, my installed applications and browsable applications are back.
