I use sopcast a lot to watch sports. Is it portable to NIT? it would be something of a "killer app" imho.

Nokia probably isn't even selling the tablets (officially) in the regions where p2p TV streaming is most popular, and since it's p2p it means that the WIFI link needs to manage heavy traffic both up and downstream... One needs a decent WIFI connection to handle all that traffic.

I'm not sure if Sopcast sources are even available to public, but if you're hoping to use the NIT at home it might be possible to simply redirect the downstream (video) from your PC to the NIT while the PC handles the upstream traffic and therefore takes off some pressure off the NIT's processor.. At least Linux PCs are quite flexible in that respect.

Sorry, doesn't seem to be available. You can try contacting the authors somehow and asking for the source, or asking them to compile it for the n800, but until one of those happen, you won't see sopcast on your N8x0
