Hi all,

When I installed ogg-support on my n810 (diablo), I was able to browse, select, and play ogg files from the built-in media player. Suddenly, however, when I go to open a new file from the player, none of my ogg files appear. If, for example, I navigate to a folder full of oggs I just get "no media files."

From the file manager, I can see the ogg files fine, and when I click on them the built-in media player opens and plays them fine. I just can't select the files from within the player using menu>clip>open.

I recently ran "ignore map's oggs" from the control oanel. Did that cause the problem?

is there some way to get the media player back to displaying my ogg files?

Thanks,
Glug

Check if your oggs appear under '(unknown artist)' at the bottom. All my oggs show up there because for some unknown reason Media Player isn't picking up the tags.

I was quite frustrated with ogg playback in the NITs since I upgraded to Diablo. Luckily Canola beta 10 just came out (it's still not officially released, but it's available in the extras-devel repository) and it works as a charm.

Cheers.

thanks for the reply.

The oggs on my tablet show up under "unknown" but I still can't see them when I go menu>clip>open and navigate to the folder with the dialog box that pops up.

Also, the oggs from my UPnP server don't show up anywhere in the media player, not even under "unknown". I can see and listen to them from other computers/players, though.
