i obviously upgarded something that is causng my n810 to crash every nite while it is charging. i use gmail imap and set modest so that it is to update manually so no automatically polling of email i have rss feeds set to update every hour but rss is not open when i put the charger on.

my desktop applets include internet search, and gpe summary,


i am beyond my knowledge base here... is there a log i can find?

i currently dual boot into my external card when i wake up he unit has re-booted into flash

my desktops are different for the external card and internal flash

I know this will not help with the system crashing but aleast if you are not there and it crashs you can have it reboot back to mmc card .

Ganinroot

then do

chroot /mnt/initfs cal-tool --set-root-device ask:mmc12


Hope this helps

BTW my system is not crashing with the update on dual boot. maybe it's something you have loaded .

i assume it is something else it worked fine for a couple of weeks before it started crashing
