Hi, my nokia 770 its not booting right. It just happend, i didnt do anything.
Now when im in the nokia start up page, its stays there, and after that i get a white screen and then the nokia start up page again.. the bar doesnt appear.. and when appears, and fully charges it just starts over a few seconds later.
i tried to reflash it, but my computer doesnt recognize the usb device.. :S

Please, if someone knows how to repair it please tell me ^^

No, you'll see, i've already tried that. There are no answers for the fact that the pc doesn't recognize the nokia connected by usb..
i know how to reflash it, but this, it stucks on the nokia screen, and i cant reflash it..
Oh, when i plug it in the pc, and turn it on with the home button on, it shows the usb device, but its not working..

Have you tried to just plug the usb, start flasher and then reboot tablet without pressing any key, it works well with my n810, if i just make sure that the flasher is started before rebooting.

Windows or linux user?

when using linux flasher:
switch off tablet (if there's no other way - remove battery in one quick move and leave it wihout for circa minute)
start flasher on PC in "read device" mode
connect tablet via USB
switch the tablet on while pressing home key

If it connects - show us some flasher's output.

By the way, i tried in linux and windows.. in windows, it recognizes the nokia in update state, but when i try with the wizard it cant find the nokia...

The most important problem is that i cant plug it in on the usb... :S

Can you transfer files via usb connection? If not, maybe the cable is broken?

nah, i dont think thats the problem.. it will be too much of a coincidence. My nokia wont boot, and also my cable??
i cant transfer files because its not showing me the usb or the mmc card on the pc..
arent there some ways of reset the nokia without plugit in?' or something like that??

I don't have a 770, but possibly this is the White Screen of Death?


Also, there ARE ways, but if it won't even boot... I don't know...

I am really thinking is a hardware error, but probably I am wrong.
