ummm... rdesktop is only for windooze... use vnc instead..
you need to install vnc server on ubuntu and vnc client on the n810...

rdesktop is only a windows-only thing. You'll need to use VNC. A VNC server is built-in to Ubuntu. To configure it, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VNC#Vino . Then, download the VNC viewer on your n810, put in your computer's IP address, and put in the password you used when configuring the server.

after a quick research i've found two rdp-server for linux:
http://www.thinstuff.com/products/lx-server/
and
http://xrdp.sourceforge.net/
would that be better than vnc (faster...)?
then you also only need to use one program (for windows rdp and linux rdp) on the tablet...

edit: xrdp use the vnc protocol... ^^
