I find lately I am consistently having to reboot the device. It locks up. Reboots on it's own. Freezes. Mainly when I play Videos or MP3's, or am Surfing the Web. All with the default installed apps. I tried a few other players and the same thing. I have moved all Pictures, Music, Videos, etc to external memory to give more space on the system. But that has had no significant effect....

Do you have virtual memory enabled? If so, your tablet's troubles likely stem from a damaged file system on its internal memory card. Try disabling virtual memory, moving all your files off the internal memory card, reformatting the internal memory card via the file manager, and re-enabling virtual memory.
