Hello out there, i am pretty new to the n810 and seem to already be having problems. The device does not seem to load the entire os on boot, its entirely grey and i am getting an on screen mouse showing up. It cannot seem to access the mmc2 and many apps will not load at all. Not to mention the fact that it reboots every 6 or so min. I can barely get into x term long enough to really do much at all. Tried to reflash and the n810 does not even show up, yet i can access it from my laptop......... Any body have knowledge of where this prob might be stemming??? Whether or not this is likely a hardware or software malfunction??? As i said before im am new to this and cant even get into the terminal for long enough to figure out how to solve.

THANK YOU!!! any help would be much appreciated....

To reflash, your tablet needs to be off first.

Connect it to your computer by USB.

When you turn it on, you need to also hold the hardware HOME button for you computer to recognize it.

Sorry if you already new that.

You need to learn to reflash, so focus on that. Follow the instructions carefully, especially the one about holding down the button on the front left of your N810 (not on the screen; it looks to me like a square white rectangle).

As you turn on your N810, keep holding that button down till you see the usb symbol appear on the upper right corner of the screen. Then is the time to release the button you have been holding down.

Once you have gotten this far, continue to follow the instructions on the screen and you will probably flash easily.

This is actually an easy process; it's just hard till you learn how to do it. Following the instructions that come with the flashing software is the key.

Yes, thank you very much for the input. I was going to try to iron out the problem a different way, to save much of the info, and the time of finding the apps. But it was almost impossible due to the constant reboot. Its already been re flashed. Thanks Anyway. Im glad people at least respond..
